Massimo & Sandra’s Town Hall Wedding

Massimo and Sandra had been together for years before deciding to make things official with a simple town hall ceremony, followed by dinner at a restaurant with their closest friends and family. I photographed the day as a favour for a friend who knew the couple, and it quickly became clear how much warmth and history there was within the group.

It was a modest, relaxed celebration with an easy energy and plenty of fun along the way. The opening image is in colour, while the rest of the story is presented in black and white to draw attention to the candid exchanges, the ceremony and the character of the people around them, creating a simple and timeless record of the day.
