Roisin & Philip Wedding: A High-Jinx Celebration in Catalunya

Location: Mass Col, Catalunya, Spain

This wedding started with a bit of chaos, but ultimately turned into one of my favourite celebrations. It all began when the coach carrying the guests broke down on the motorway. As we waited, there were vague updates that only added to the confusion, and nerves were starting to set in.

But, as often happens with little setbacks, this situation helped create an even more unforgettable atmosphere. The shared adversity bonded everyone and, as the event finally got underway, it added a layer of excitement and anticipation. The delay meant things were a little more rushed, but the breathless energy only added to the excitement—there was no panic, just a thrilling, high-energy vibe.

Roisin and Philip’s guests were an incredible bunch, and by the time the party kicked off, they were eager to let loose. It was the kind of celebration where everyone was fully immersed in the moment, and it gave me the chance to experiment with new ways of photographing such a lively atmosphere. This is definitely a style I plan to develop further in future events.
