Rod & Vanessa Wedding Vows

I got a call from this Canadian couple who had arrived in Barcelona and wanted some picture of them making vows to one another. They had no particular preference for a location and given time restraints I decided we should head to Montjuic where it is green and shady with views of the city.

They were a lovely couple, perhaps a little quirky, but in a nice way that can be such a relief to encounter in a world where things can be a bit homogenised.

We basically strolled around the gardens up there for a couple of hours, all very informal and improvised. When I saw them later to hand over the disk they actually wanted to pay more!

Who ever heard of a wedding photographer getting a tip?
